Renaissance Grace vintage tea party drinks reception

Congratulations to Navin and Charlotte married on Friday 15th July and again on Sat 16th July!
An English ceremomy on Friday was followed by a vintage tea reception on the South terrace, with Renaissance grace's brand new floral parasols adding that final touch. The Indian ceremony on Saturday was followed by a Bollywood dance lesson for 150 on the lawn and tradional indian food being served in the Ballroom by 'Dine in Style' the best catering company in the west country.

Renaissance Grace weddings

What a wonderful way to start married life, Brympton d'Evercy provided the backdrop to the perfect wedding weekend for Kate and Mayer.
Having worked with Kate for several months on the creation of a bespoke wedding I felt like it was one of my own getting married.
Bridesmaid dresses were created by 'Tatters' in Chelmsford Essex, bespoke wedding stationary by Graphic point in Maldon and styling of Brympton by Renaissance Grace.
Bespoke twisted wisteria garlands were designed for the pew ends which we then used to decorate ivory candelabras for the wedding breakfast.

Country club wedding

Valentine's weekend saw the first Renaissance Grace wedding at The Warren country club in Woodham Walter.
Teachers Marina and Paul tied the knot at the heavenly exquisite church in the village with the clouds parting as they left the church to glorious blue skies and sunshine to add to the romance of their day. Photo taking and confetti throwing completed the happy picture.
A beautiful dressed barn awaited them at The Warren as their party of guests arrived in time to greet the couple on their arrival.
Peacocks with new tail feathers strutted across the lawn outside the french doors adding to the quintessential english occasion.
Congratulations to Marina and Paul and best wishes with their new life together all before them.

All this snow has made me want to think ahead to all the lovely summer weddings we are now organizing with our 2011 brides. Quintessential english summer weddings are Renaissance Grace's love and I can't wait to recreate this one from last year at Brympton for my summer brides this year. Plates and cakes and fresh flowers are all it takes to create the perfect summer backdrop to the perfect wedding day. What can be more delicious than this!!

July 10th 2010 Suzy and Charles Brympton Wedding

The weather glorious, the bride stunning, the groom handsome, it can only happen at the fairytale wedding venue, Brympton d'Evercy.
To be the Wedding Planner for Suzy and charles has been a pleasure from day one of introduction right through until the actual glorious wedding day.
Suzy and Charles arrived with their entourage of friends and family the night before the big day and made the most of the delights of Brympton House by settling their guests into the many guest rooms within the exquiste historical house itself and the adjoining Home farm which house The D'evercy Tower rooms beautifully decorated with Toile de Jouy fabrics and matching wallpapers. selected by yours truly.
After a rehearsal with the groom, best man, master of ceremonies (a close friend of Charles who was nothing short of a star on the day!) we let the lads escape for a planned pub last night of freedom and a pamper session for the bride-to-be and her bridesmaids.
The morning arrived quick enough and I found Cornelius the hair and make-up specialist from London applying his magic to Suzy (not that she needed much help!) in the bridal suite.
My helper for the day, Melanie the art student, had her skills called upon as Suzy needed a last minute wedding table plan produced, Mel went into the creative zone and turned around a fantastic last minute masterpiece admired by all.

The day flowed like a dream with a romantic civil ceremony in The Medieval Dower House with flowers by the Brympyon in-house florist to die for and a string quartet from Bath.

The sun shone mercilessly and luckily for the guests deck chairs had thoughtfully been set out in the shade of a giant tree, and with croquet set up on the lawn and a quintessential English lazy summer afternoon wedding drinks reception was enjoyed by one and all.

The photographer Ed was amazing and the perfect gentleman throughout the process of capturing the perfect picture unfolding infront of us.
The Wedding Breakfast was my chance to grab a rest and hand over the wedding party to the in-house chef Jane Parker and her fabulous team, they all make serving 100 guests simultaneously look so easy!
Night fell and my final hand over to the Brympton Evening team, Johnathan and Anita who served the evening guests and oversaw the local Morris dancers performing before the commencement of the evening live band.
I made my way home leaving a beautiful sunset over Brympton that lasted until I reached
Stonehenge.
What a fantastic wedding to have been a small part of, Renaissance Grace wish Suzy and Charles all the very best for the Future.

Falling down another Rabbit hole

As if falling down the Brympton d'Evercy rabbit hole wasn't big enough I now find I've popped up at The Warren!
The Warren is A fabulous golf course in Woodham Walter matched with a membership to die for, set in 400 acres with a traditional 1744 Essex Barn as part of the club house that hasn't been tampered with so remains as an historical record of the development of the course and it's various owners history since the Edwardian age what more can I say other than I think I've died and gone to Heaven!!
5 mins from home as well, Brympton is 390 miles round trip pure dedication!
Being commissioned on the refurbishment of The Warren along with my creative partner Linda Treacy is exciting enough, however, the icing on my cake has come from my engagement as Wedding Designer assisting all Warren brides on the organizing of their most important day, their wedding day.

Renaissance Grace Wedding Design launched on Valentine's day this year has gone from strength to strength.
I have been on such a whirl wind experience my feet need to touch the ground to allow me to post some of my Brympton brides wedding photo's taken at Brympton House Somerset. I promise to give you plenty of wedding eye candy a.s.a.p.
Take care Susan
